How to change location on iPhone (region, apps, Find My and more)
“Location” means different things in iPhone settings. Here is where to change each one, and what cannot be changed safely.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fake my GPS location on iPhone?
Not with iPhone settings. Third party spoofing tools exist, but they can break apps, and games or dating apps may ban accounts that use them.
Does changing region change my App Store?
No. The App Store country is set on your Apple Account, separately from the iPhone’s region.
Does a VPN change my location?
It changes the location websites see from your IP address, but not your GPS location in Maps or Find My.
