How to change the font size on iPhone (make text bigger or bold)
iPhone lets you make text bigger, bolder or larger in just one app. Changing the font style itself is limited.
The fix
Make text bigger everywhere

Open Settings › Display & Brightness › Text Size.

Drag the slider to the size you want.

Need it even bigger?
Go to Settings › Accessibility › Display & Text Size › Larger Text and turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes.

Turn on Bold Text in Display & Text Size for thicker letters.

Add the Text Size control to Control Center.

Open the app you want to change.

Open Control Center, tap Text Size and choose that app only at the bottom.

Not for the whole system. You can change the Lock Screen clock font when you edit the Lock Screen, and some apps have their own font settings.
