How to delete all emails from one sender in Gmail
Search for the sender, select everything, then delete. The web version can clear thousands in one go.

On a computer (fastest)

Search for from:their address in Gmail.

Tick the checkbox above the list.

Click Select all conversations that match this search.

Click the Trash icon and confirm.

Touch and hold the first email, then tap each other one.

Delete their future emails automatically

On the web, click the filter icon in the search bar.

Enter the address in From and click Create filter.

Frequently asked questions
Can I do it in the Gmail app?
Yes, but the app has no select all. Long press one email, tap the others, then Delete. For many emails, use a browser.
Where do deleted emails go?
To Trash, where they stay for 30 days. Empty Trash to free the storage right away.
