How to delete your Facebook account permanently
Deleting is permanent after 30 days. If you just want a break, deactivating hides your profile and keeps everything.
The fix
Delete your account

Download your information first.
Accounts Center › Your information and permissions › Download your information.

Go to Accounts Center › Personal details › Account ownership and control.

Tap Deactivation or deletion and choose your Facebook profile.

Select Delete account, tap Continue and follow the prompts.

Enter your password and confirm.

Hides your profile. You can come back any time by logging in. Messenger can keep working.

Removes your profile, photos and posts permanently after 30 days.
