How to lock your Facebook profile (and what to do if you can’t)
Profile lock hides your posts, photos and full profile picture from people who are not your friends. If you do not see it, privacy settings do most of the same.

Lock your profile

Open Facebook and go to your profile.

Tap the ••• next to Edit profile.
- 3
Tap Lock profile, then Lock your profile.

No Lock Profile option? Do this instead

Go to Settings & privacy › Settings › Audience and visibility.

Set Who can see your future posts to Friends.
- 3
Tap Limit past posts to make old posts friends only.
- 4
Set who can see your friends list and profile details to Friends or Only me.
