App Store not working? Fix “Cannot Connect to App Store”

Check Apple’s System Status.
Visit apple.com/support/systemstatus and look at App Store.

Check your internet.
Open a website. Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular.

Allow cellular data for the App Store.
Settings › Cellular › App Store.

Set date and time automatically.
Settings › General › Date & Time › Set Automatically.

Turn off VPN.

Check Screen Time.
Settings › Screen Time › Content & Privacy Restrictions. Allow the App Store and installing apps.

Restart the iPhone and update iOS.

Sign out of Media & Purchases.
Settings › [your name] › Media & Purchases › Sign Out, then sign in again.
