Google Play download pending? 8 fixes when apps won’t start
Pending usually means your download is waiting in line behind other updates. Clear the queue and it starts.

Cancel the queue.
Profile picture › Manage apps & device › Updates available › Cancel all.

Check download preference.
Play Store › Settings › Network preferences › App download preference › Over any network.

Free up storage.
Leave at least 1 to 2 GB free.

Set the date and time to automatic.

Turn off VPN and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Clear Play Store cache.
Settings › Apps › Google Play Store › Storage › Clear cache.

Update Google Play services and restart the phone.
