Messenger not working? 9 fixes for messages that won’t send
When Messenger will not send, it is usually the connection, an app setting or the other person’s account. Check each quickly.

Why won’t my message send to one person?
They may have blocked you, deactivated their account or restricted who can message them. If messages to everyone else work, the problem is on their side.
Why does Messenger say No internet connection?
