How to update your iPhone (and what to do if the update will not show)
Updating takes a few taps. If the update does not appear or will not install, the fix is usually space, compatibility or a beta profile.

Update over Wi-Fi

Back up your iPhone, especially before a major update.

Plug it into power and connect to Wi-Fi.

Go to Settings › General › Software Update.

Tap Update Now (or Download and Install) and enter your passcode.

Wait for the iPhone to restart. Do not unplug it during the install.
