How to find a lost Android phone (Google and Samsung)
Every Android phone signed in to Google can be found from a browser. Samsung phones have a second option.
The fix
Use Google Find Hub

Go to android.com/find, or open the Find Hub app on another phone.

Sign in with the Google account on the lost phone.

Select the phone to see it on the map.

Choose Play sound, Mark as lost or Factory reset device.

Samsung: SmartThings Find

Go to smartthingsfind.samsung.com.

Sign in with your Samsung account.
- 3
Pick the phone to ring, lock, track or back it up.
Frequently asked questions
Can I find my phone if it is off?
Newer Pixel and many other phones can report their location for a while after turning off through the Find Hub network. Otherwise you see the last known location.
What if I cannot sign in because of two step verification?
Google lets you use Find Hub from a browser without the code on the lost phone. Choose Find Hub on the sign in screen.
