How to find my iPhone when it is lost, off or dead
If Find My was on, you can see where your iPhone is from any browser, even an Android phone or a friend’s laptop.

Find it from any browser

Go to icloud.com/find on a computer or any phone.

Sign in with your Apple Account.

Select your iPhone under All Devices.

Choose Play Sound, Mark As Lost or Erase This Device.

Open Find My and tap Devices.

Choose your iPhone to see where it is.

Tap Directions to go to it, or Notify When Found if it is offline.
Frequently asked questions
Can I find my iPhone if it is off or dead?
On iPhone 11 and later with a recent iOS, Find My can show it for up to 24 hours after it turns off. Otherwise you see its last known location.
What should I do if it was stolen?
Turn on Lost Mode, report it to the police with the serial number, and call your carrier to suspend the line. Do not try to get it back yourself.
